General Grant
Wayne Issleb has been presenting as General Grant since 2013, and has been participating in Shadows of the Blue and Gray since 2016. His presentation is "Rise of the General" where he describes Grant from his early beginnings to the very end.
Victorian Tea Presentation
Karen has been part of Shadows for 9 years with her "Taste of the Past" bake goods and Victorian Parlor, enhancing our reenactment with a little 1800s social and food history. Her love for Victorian Afternoon Tea parties has been a part of her heritage and is what got her started here.
This year we are excited to have her share her hostess talents with us with a lovely visual table setting as she enlightens us on the history of etiquette, appropriate dress, and what to serve at a "proper" Victorian Afternoon Tea. If her presentation makes you hungry, be sure to stop by her "Taste of the Past" booth afterwards to enjoy some of her delicious pastries!
